Curriculum Statement

At Children's House Nursery School  we recognise parents and carers as their child’s first educators and aim to work in close partnership with them.

All children have equal access to a broad and balanced early years curriculum which takes into account the four principles of the EYFS:

• All children are unique and competent learners

• Children learn to be independent by building positive relationships

• The nursery environment should be enabling, secure and supportive in every way.

• Children learn at different rates and all areas of learning are important and inter-connected.
 

Well planned play, both indoors and outdoors, is the key way in which young children learn.
