Friday 12th November

Friday 12th November 2021

Good afternoon everyone,

Today is Focus Friday which as you will know is when children work with their Key Person on their learning journeys. This gives children time to discuss what they are enjoying at nursery and any difficulties they might be having and to plan things to work on. It’s also a nice opportunity for children to share their achievements as they put special photos in their books.

In the garden children were mixing paints in autumn colours, as children are free to interpret and represent what they see in their own way, some of the colours produced were mixed were surprising!

Red class also enjoyed paint today, making patterns with different rollers and ground floor children were busy constructing an indoor dinosaur world.

Children have really enjoyed making puppets this week and today a group of children made a puppet theatre, they had great fun acting out stories for each other.

Remember next Friday the 19th of November,  afternoon children are invited to attend in the morning as we are taking part in BBC Children in Need and have a visiting Theatre Company Booked.

Children can also wear something yellow on this day.

Have a lovely weekend and if you are attending the Lord Mayor’s Show do send some photos for your child’s special book.
