Friday 25th September

Good afternoon everyone,

Well, what a blustery day and the drop in temperature was quite a shock to the system too.

There is something exhilarating for children about a windy day many headed straight outdoors to have fun in the garden listening to the wind and watching the leaves blow down.

Children who didn’t make pizza yesterday had a turn to make one outdoors. Indoors it was Focus Friday, children had their Key Group Circle Time and were able to work on their learning journey (Special Book) with their key person.

Children love choosing photographs and pieces of work to put in their book. These books have an important purpose they build resilience in children as they look back at all the things they can do, they show progress over time and are a record of an important chapter in their life, the beginning of their school journey.

If you would like to see your child’s book please do ask. They are always available.

Have a good weekend and here is a poem to read aloud

Who Has Seen the Wind?

Who has seen the wind?

Neither I nor you:

But when the leaves hang trembling,

The wind is passing through.

Who has seen the wind?

Neither you nor I:

But when the trees bow down their heads,

The wind is passing by.
