Friday 4th September
We are so happy that everyone is returning to nursery. This week we have been welcoming all our new children and families in our “meet and greet sessions” and on Monday 7th September all our returning children will come back too. We can’t wait to see you all again.
There are new procedures in place to keep you safe in nursery and everything can be found under Key Information on the website. You will also be given a hard copy on Monday.
The main change of course is social distancing. Parents please remember to wear a mask as you wait outside the school gates and remember to use the correct entrance.
Please don’t worry there will plenty of staff outside the school to assist everyone with the new routine.
We have a busy, fun packed term ahead of us. When children start nursery they are taught the nursery routines, how to care for equipment and how to wash their hands and use the washrooms.
Every child has a key person and their most important role is to ensure the well-being and happiness of your child. Happy, settled children are great learners, so the children’s well-being is our absolute priority. During lock down we finished training to become a “place to be” school. This means that we have a strong focus on children’s mental health and well-being and have procedures in place to support every child to enjoy nursery and have fun with their new friends.
Have a lovely weekend and remember we are here to help, so if you have a question please do ask.
Stay safe, control the virus, save lives
