Monday 12th October
Good afternoon everyone,
It was so nice to welcome all the children back to nursery today and I thank you all for your patience and understanding. We have to follow the rules and do our bit to prevent the spread of the virus and therefore we followed the advice given by Public Health England which was to close.
I would just like to remind everyone as there is some confusion, if someone in your household tests positive for coronavirus they must self-isolate for 10 days or until they are better, everyone else in the household and anyone who has had close contact must self-isolate for fourteen days. This is the current law and we have to ensure we follow it. Anyone not self-isolating when they have been told to do so can face prosecution or a £1,000 fine. So let’s work together to keep everyone safe and prevent the spread of the virus.
This week the children are learning all about the changing seasons. Autumn has arrived, therefore we were teaching children how to keep warm and wear coats, hats, gloves when they go outdoors.
Children were collecting fallen leaves and comparing their colours and later they made leaf prints and collages.
Other children spontaneously made their own obstacle course using the community play blocks and children in red class enjoyed learning nursery rhymes and settling back into their routine.
Have a lovely evening
