Thursday 11th March

Thursday 11th March 2021

Good afternoon everyone,

A busy day today, in every class the children were baking surprises which we won’t mention until Sunday. This year in particular we need a big shout out to all the mums and dads who have supported their children so well through this pandemic.

Children were also enjoying the outdoors as despite the weather warning the torrential rain held off and they were able to plant the summer bulbs. In June we will see lupins, dahlias, anemones and other beautiful flowers attracting the bees and mini-beasts.

Later as the weather warms up we will plant our vegetable garden with runner beans, cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes. We also have strawberry plants and herbs which we use in our cooking.

The children who hadn’t yet made slime also had a turn and staff prepared to welcome the new children who will start to join us next week. They really have been very patient and we look forward to meeting them soon.

Have a lovely evening.
