Thursday 4th March
Thursday 4th March 2021
Good afternoon everyone,
I hope that everyone at home managed to join in with the world book day fun. I hear that the zoom session with Nicole went really well, we will share the links to all the websites that she mentioned during the training.
In nursery the children all had a lovely day, everyone including staff dressed as a book character and there was great fun as children guessed who everybody was. Well done to all of you for your creativity in managing to find costumes during lockdown. It was worth it as the children really had a fun day.
In the garden there was a book scavenger hunt, children were given clues and had to go off to find the characters, indoors there was storytelling and a talent show and in red building children made their own books.
Every child went home with a book token. Children still at home will receive theirs on Monday.
Tomorrow all children will return to their original classes as we prepare for every child to return on Monday.
If you do not plan to send your child back to nursery on the 8th March please let us know as soon as possible as we will not be able to keep your child’s place open after this time. We have a waiting list of children wanting to join.
Nursery is as safe as we can make it and the bubble system will continue for the foreseeable future. Sadly parents will still not be able to come on site so we ask that you continue to hand over children at the school gates. There will still be three separate entrances.
Have a lovely evening and do call or e-mail if you have any questions about Monday.
