Tuesday 29th September
Good evening everyone,
We welcomed more new children to nursery today, it’s a delight to see children, make friends, explore and enjoy all the learning activities on offer.
Today there was plenty to choose from; in the ground floor class children made bread with Sam, they each made their own dough and baked a delicious bread roll to take home. Bread is a wonderful activity to make with children, it covers all areas of the early years curriculum and is a wonderful sensory experience too.
Out in the playground children enjoyed some of our favourite ring games. We love ring games at Children’s House as they are fun, cooperative, encourage turn taking and everyone gets to play and join in the fun.
Children who are leaving for reception in January were busy learning letter sounds and the two year olds welcomed a new friend.
Our educational psychologist John was in school today too. If you have any concerns about your child’s development do share it with us and equally as we get to know the children, we will share any difficulties that your child may be experiencing. By working together, we can ensure that all children get the early help they need to ensure they make the best progress possible.
Have a lovely evening and we look forward to welcoming some of you to our Learning Outdoors course tomorrow.
