Tuesday 2nd November

Tuesday 2nd November 2021

Good afternoon everyone,

A quick reminder, now that the weather has turned colder, please ensure that your child has warm clothing suitable for outdoor play. Children still want to go into the garden even on cold days. At Children’s House we always say there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing. If your child has a warm coat and hat they really enjoy being outdoors even on a chilly day and fresh air and exercise is so important for everyone.

Today in nursery children made a story book containing the stories they told each other about light and dark in the tents. They are also learning about Diwali the festival of light and today they made their own rangoli patterns in the playground.

Other children made poppies for Remembrance Day. Tesco asked if we could do a poppy display for their entrance so when you go shopping do take a look at the children’s work.

In red class the youngest children made a tent and explored sensory toys.

Have a lovely evening.
