Wednesday 14th October

Good afternoon everyone,

What beautiful crisp autumn sunshine we all enjoyed today. Wednesday began with a group of parents heading off with Nazia from the parental engagement team to Bob’s Park. Everyone participated in a wonderful session of outdoor learning. We still have two more sessions of this course left so please do sign up. You will meet new friends and learn fun ways to support your child’s learning when you are outdoors.

In nursery on both floors some children made a delicious vegetable soup with Shakila and Sam, they all enjoyed eating it together. Homemade soup is a quick and easy way of ensuring that children eat plenty of vegetables.

Other children went to the local park with Kamran and Sadia to look at autumnal change and collect leaves of all sizes, shapes and colours. They enjoyed being outside and quietly observing as leaves spiraled down from the trees.

It was also fun to crunch through the leaves already on the ground.

We also welcomed some new children today to red class and first floor class. We hope they will all be very happy here.

Over in red class the youngest children were busy outdoors enjoying activities of all kinds and indoors they explored autumn together, you can see how involved everyone is from the pictures on the blog.

Have a lovely evening and we look forward to seeing you all again tomorrow.
