Wednesday 21st October

Good afternoon everyone,

Well what a rainy day, we apologise for the huge puddle that gathers outside the gate when it rains. I have contacted the councillor for Bow to ask for his help as this is an ongoing problem.

Despite the rain (which children love), we had a really good day. Over in red class the younger children were happily banging golf pegs into pumpkins, a great activity for hand/eye coordination.

In main building children added colour to their African pots and upstairs Shakila worked with children on delicious African flat breads, which we all enjoyed for snack.

Here is a rainy day rhyme to read together:

Pitter Patter

Pitter patter, pitter patter,

Listen to the rain!

Pitter patter, pitter patter,

On the window pane.

Dropping, dropping, dropping, dropping,

Dropping on the ground.

Dripping, dripping, dripping, dripping,

Listen to the sound!

Have a lovely evening.

Pumpkin fun....
