Wednesday 3rd November 2021

Good evening everyone,

Today was an exciting day as we had the first outing since COVID. A group of children and parents went to the Discover Centre where they had an amazing time listening to an interactive story and exploring the story world. Everyone really enjoyed the trip. We are so pleased that our horizons are expanding again. We will be offering more trips throughout the year so please don’t worry if your child didn’t go this time. There will be plenty of other opportunities. Do have a look at the photos below. A big thank you to all the parents who accompanied us on the trip today. We couldn’t do it without your help.

In nursery today children were fascinated by the falling leaves and autumn berries, they collected leaves, looked at their different shapes and colours and used these wonderful natural resources to make their own collages.

Red class children enjoyed a “what’s in the box” game and other children continued to explore rangoli patterns.

Rangoli patterns are bright, colourful and beautiful designs that are associated with Diwali. They are placed to welcome the Hindu Goddess Lakshmi - the goddess of wealth - to the house and are thought to bring good luck.

Have a lovely evening.
