About Us

Children’s House Nursery School is a state maintained school at the heart of the local community in Bromley-by-Bow, Tower Hamlets.
We are housed in a listed building and are proud of our heritage; the school has been serving local children for almost a hundred years.
We are committed to providing the highest standards of care and education for every child through meaningful experiences that build on what children, know, understand and can do.
At the heart of our work with children is the close relationships we form with each family. We work in partnership with parents and carers to give children an inspirational start to their school lives.

17th Christmas singing with the main building children today - please join us: 
    Ground floor 11.15am (all ground floor children come to school in the morning)
    First floor 2.30pm (all first floor children come to school in the afternoon)
    Full time children in all day as normal
18th Christmas singing in the Red Building today: please join us
     11.20am and 2.50pm
19th Christmas parties for all children - wear party clothes if you like
19th Last day for Red Building children
20th School open 9am-12pm for main building children: all children come to school in the morning 
School closes at 12pm today for the Christmas break

​Our lovely school dental team come to Children's House Nursery School each year to help children and families with caring for our teeth and looking after them before you get cavities and problems. 
Look at the progress from the building site next door: we are looking forward to Stroudley Walk being a place we are proud to live, study and work.

Our values permeate everything we do: we want our children to refer to them to support each other, independently problem solving and managing their own behaviour.
Children know they will be listened to and their words valued; we want them to speak up for what they believe and feel trusted and safe to do so.
